  Welcome back to my blog reader!   Here is the storyboard for our “Material Girl” Music Video:   First Scene: In the first scene, an over the shoulder shot and medium close up will be used in order to see our material girl ge tting ready for the day while looking at the mirror .   Second Scene: In the second scene, our actress will be on her way out while also grabbing her car keys and then walk ing to her car. (An eye level shot will be used in this scene).   Third Scene: In the third sce ne, our material girl’s car will pull up to the mall . Surrounding designer stores will be s hown. (A high angle and tracking shot will be used for this scene).   Fourth Scene: In the fourth scene, our actress will get helped out of the car and will have a line of boys waiting for her. (A tilt and then a wide shot will be used in this scene).   Fifth Scene: In the fifth scene, a poor boy offers her his love, but she rejects it . Welcome back to my blog reader! Here is our plan for the music video project! Props:   . Since we chose the song Material Girl, we plan to display a young girl living a lavish lifestyle. To portray this, we plan to use fake money, sunglasses, and a feather boa as our props.  Costumes:    . In our video, we will have one main subject, our material girl, with others playing supporting roles. For the material girl, they would be dressed up in long gloves, fake pearls, and a nice long dress, preferably pink. To fit the stereotype of a gold-digger, they would also wear a blonde wig, a feather boa, and expensive looking sunglasses. The actress would have on light makeup, with the most bold part being some red lipstick.       For the lower class boys, we would have them dress in casual clothing, such as jeans and a hoodie. Any lower class girls would dress in similar casual clothing but may wear skirts, short dresses, or shorts as well. On the other hand, the boys playing the upper class role

             Welcome back to my blog reader! My group ultimately decided on the song Material Girl by Madonna. The genre is pop, and it specifically was a viral pop hit of the 80s.  BACKDROPS AND LIGHTING: In a pop video, there is typically a connection between the lyrics and the images, as well as a performance by the artist, to help the audience remember the performer and the song. Pop videos are typically colorful and vibrant with regard to lighting because the audience finds them to be aesthetically pleasing. Pop videos frequently have themes with vivid and striking colors. 1) In this specific video, this is seen in the vibrant red backdrop, Madonna's bright pink dress, shiny jewelry, and bright chandeliers.  - We also see colorful backdrops in music videos such as the song  2) Fergalicious by Fergie. Here, we see the variety of colors in the outfits and candy-inspired background. 3) 7 rings- Ariana Grande. Here we see a variety of bright pink neon lights illuminating the video

Welcome back to my blog reader! My name is Alessandra and my group members are Hailey, Isabel, and Kyra. For this project, we welcomed a new team member which is Kyra . Regarding our last project, the commercial, my team members and I had lots of fun throughout the process of making it and I especially enjoyed the filming part of it. It was extremely fun coming together with my group to film our scene s and discovering how to execute all the angles that we needed for it. The experience of the Commercial project helped my team members and I become familiar with terms revolving around media such as what a High/low angle is ( While we were filming our video, we searched up on the app YouTube examples of how the angles we needed were done. We saw various exa mples of how for instance a tilt was made in many movies/Tv Shows and mu sic videos). We were able to improve our filming and editing skills and learn about filming tech niques through out the course of our p

  Welcome back to my blog re ader! My name is Alessandra and my group's first project (Commercial Video) was an exciting task that we were able to accomplish with success and I am very excited to start filming our upcoming project (The music video) . Something you should know about me is that I truly enjoy editing , filming, and photography. I have not settled on what career path I want to pursue yet, but as of right now   I believe that I want a career that revolves around cinematography and di gital design. Moreover, what I like about photography is that whatever pic ture you take can be turned into some thing much greater tha n you could ever imagine. For ins tance, I utilized a s ky picture that I took (a while prior) as background for one of edits that I did for my go dmother as a gift . I also take interest in learning new languages; Spanish is my first language and then I learned English. I am very interested in learning Korean and hope to be able
