Finding the Right Music

Welcome back to my blog reader! Now it is time to find the music that will enhance my short film and will make it come together. I have decided not to reach out to any musical artist as I find royalty free music on the platform YouTube. This is due to that I feel it is more accessible for me as it provides me with large variety of options and I am able to access the content in a matter of minutes whereas if I reach out to an artist, it could take a very long time for them to reply or they could never give me the permission I require with a very late notice. Therefore, all these little details could possibly cause major harm to my short film thus leading to me to my decision of going with royalty free music from the platform YouTube as it seems to be the better choice for me after listing the pros and cons. Now that I have chosen what path I am going to follow, I now need to look at my options within that path. I am looking for suspenseful music that will make the viewer engage with what is happening in the film and anticipating what comes next. This leads me to begin the search for the music that will fit my short film the most and the one that will enhance the feeling of being at the edge of the seat for the viewer as the film plays out. One of the options that I liked among the ones that I found was "Suspense Music - Seeking The Truth" provided by Greg Noblin on the platform YouTube seems an interesting choice for me as it could possibly work for my film but I do not want to settle on one song just yet and want to see what others choices are on the table. This provider had around three more options for suspenseful music that I looked at, many of which I found interesting but I still do not want to settle on anything yet and I want for my options to remain open. After a long research of going through various songs, I found a no copyright suspense background music provided by “Music Beat Official – No Copyright” on the platform YouTube. This music seems to be a perfect fit for my short films. This is due to that while I was listening to it, I could imagine what parts of the song would fit into different parts of the film therefore making this the music that I have chosen to apply to my short film. I feel that this music while enhance my short film therefore enhancing the experience of the viewer. Well this is my cue to leave, till next time reader!
