Filming day at the mall

 

Welcome back to my blog reader! Our first filming day could be described as a very hectic day. We had planned to meet each other at the mall in front of the Gucci store at the afternoon (2 PM), a very well pre-determined plan but we had not taken into consideration how hard it would be to find each other due to how the mall is built and most of us had not gone enough to know it like the back of our hand. The GPS only took you to the mall itself not the store that it was supposed to lead me to, so when I got there, I had to call Hailey and she had to send me her location which was five minutes away from where I was. Then when we were able to find each other, we started filming. We shot one of our middle scenes first, which was when our material girl rejected the poor boy, and then we shot the last scene which was when our material girl takes the money from all her subjects and leaves with the poor boy. We filmed these two scenes first due to that our poor boy had leave early. Then after we said our goodbyes, we resumed filming and when to ask the store Michael Kors if they would let us film (the entrance of the store) our material girl leaving the store and after discussing it with their manager they agreed to let us film in the store. They were extremely nice, and we were able to get our shot. Then we when went to ask other stores if they would let us film inside for the scene where our material girl goes around looking what the store has to offer while being followed by the male actors and the scene where one of the male actors pays for what the material girl wants. We got turned down by three stores in a row, until we thankfully found a store who were kind enough to let us film three scenes inside their store and were even eager to participate in the video. Well this is my cue to leave, till next time reader!
